I’ve been rappin since 1987 when I was just a little kid. I ain’t sayin I’m the best out there but I am sayin that I rap from the heart and for the luv. I started in a group in Columbus Ohio called SET (self esteem team) ran by Al Ray (I still look up to dat nigga). This was all positive rap, no sex, no guns, no drugs, no foul language. We traveled almost all of the states in the US rappin, drawin a steady paycheck from the age of 12 to 14. I got too big for my britches and my pops took me out the group. I learned humility from that.

Then I said, screw positive rap, say what’s ever on your heart nigga. See I grew in the black oppressed ghettos of Columbus, OHIO. This living in it self has a lot to do with how I think and write.

When I was still 14 I got a manager and an additional father figure (D). D was from New York and was there when original Hip Hop started. That man thought me so much in the game, I still haven’t used it all. I just lost him I miss him a whole lot.

All right that just messed up my whole mood. So here’s my 50. I rap, produce, engineer, and mix. I love it and ain’t gonna stop even if you hate.

Gracious - Singer/Songwriter

Genre: Neo-Soul, R&B

Home: Newark, New Jersey

I was born in raised in Hayes Home projects in Newark, NJ on August 15, 1978. My musical journey, however did not come to pass until I started middle school (1989). I had to sing a duet in front of the entire schooI in order to pass music. The feeling didn't sit to well because I always had music in my heart, but I was to shy to express myself in front of people.

So I started writing poetry back in 1992 when I wrote my first poem, I never realized that I had the potential to write songs. As the years passed I started to get in the sounds of certain instruments and that's where it took off. I heard the voice of one the greatest Jazz singer (Sarah Vaughn) and quickly fell in love with Jazz. I joined the Weequahic High School Jazz band where I learned the beauty in the sounds of instruments. I would try to mimic those sounds whenever I sung.

After years of writing I moved to Columbus, Ohio (2005) were I met the Prophecy Recordz family and decided to let my voice be heard, I started singing any and everything. Then met Decon Chainz and Prophecy.
